The recently released horror title, Hello Neighbor launched exclusively to PC and Xbox One, removing PS4 and Switch players from the market – however, according to a PEGI listing, it seems that there may be a chance that the ai-adaptive title will be coming to both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
PEGI is basically the European equivalent for United States ESRB, the listing for Hello Neighbour proves pretty significant as PEGI has previously listed ‘exclusive’ games for multiple platforms, accurately.
That being said, the listing for Hello Neighbor’s PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions does state that their release date is December 2017; the same as its release on PC and Xbox One. Obviously, this is an error as the game is currently only available for the aforementioned platforms but what is unclear is whether it is the date or the console entries themselves which are incorrect.
This could also mean that Dynamic Pixels submitted the listing with PEGI with the goal of porting the title to the other consoles after the game’s reception.
‘Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game about sneaking into your neighbor’s house to figure out what horrible secrets he’s hiding in the basement. You play against an advanced AI that learns from your every move. Really enjoying climbing through that backyard window? Expect a bear trap there. Sneaking through the front door? There’ll be cameras there soon. Trying to escape? The Neighbor will find a shortcut and catch you. ‘
