Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Gets New Videos Showcasing Unique Weapons & Unmanned Gears

February 6, 2013 by Alex Co

Here are two more gameplay videos for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Konami hasn't been pulling punches when it comes to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's trailers, and now, they have two more.

Shown below are two videos with one showcasing the unique weapons Raiden's enemies use, while the other one shows us an unmanned enemy type that Raiden must take out.

Unique Weapons Trailer

What's interesting here is that Raiden will have the ability to use weapons from fallen bosses. So not only will he be able to slice 'n dice using his High-Frequency Blade, he'll also be able to tear through enemy ranks using a pair of sais, pincer blades and a pole-arm staff that even lets him use it like what Neo did against against the legion of Agent Smiths in Matrix 2.

Unmanned Gears Trailer

If you've played Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's demo, you will undoubtedly be familiar with the Metal Gear that you end up facing a few times before the robotic dog boss. Well, if this trailer is any indication, that's only the start as the game will have a lot more unmanned cyborgs ready to tear and pound Raiden into the ground.

For those who've played the demo of Rising — which is still on Xbox LIVE and PSN — what do you make of the game so far? Will it be far superior to DmC or is the combat a little too constricted for you?

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is set for a February 19 release on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Thanks, AGB
