Indie Royale Introduces Replay Bundle

January 9, 2013 by Jordan Erica Webber

The bundle features games that have been bundled before

Indie Royale has a new bundle available, and this one features highlights from previous rounds. They're calling it the Replay Bundle Vol. 1, which I guess means we can expect more titles to be repeated in future Replay Bundles. This one includes the following five games:

Nuclear Dawn is a post-apocalyptic FPS/strategy game in which outcomes are based around the choices you make. You choose whether to side with the Consortium “fighting for a better future” or the Empire that seeks “victory through strength”, then you choose your class – “exo”, assault, stealth, support – and weapons, strategy, and the rest. It actually looks pretty awesome, which is why I've stuck a picture from it above, but then I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic stuff so do make your own decision.

Defense Grid: The Awakening is a tower defence game that aims to combine simplicity – and thus ease for beginners – with depth. It certainly looks pretty, and there's an 8+ hour story, 20 maps, and lots of challenge modes.

Gemini Rue is an adventure game from Wadjet Eye Games, who produced the awesome Resonance and Primordia. Expect retro-styled graphics and an absorbing story. This one is about space travel, assassins, criminals, memory loss, and more.

Soulcaster and Soulcaster II are dungeon adventures that require skill and strategy. You'll be fighting monsters, finding secrets, and collecting treasure as you attempt to restore peace to the world. These are also retro-styled – top-down and reminiscent of much older RPGs.

The bundle has a current minimum price of £3.43 ($5.51 at today's exchange rate), but you can pick up extras if you pay more than the average of £5.08 (approximately $8.15).
