Ubisoft's hit game Assassin's Creed 3 is set to receive a new update tomorrow that's set to add support for a DLC which brings several new characters and maps for players to experience in its competitive online mode.
The new characters will be available as a part of the Battle Hardened DLC which includes three new characters. They are the Governor, the Highlander, and the Coyote Man. The three characters can be seen above. Three new maps will be available for use on the game's Wolf Pack and standard multiplayer modes. Here are the details from the press release:

o The influential Governor
o The resilient Highlander
o The fearsome Coyote Man
• Three New Maps (for use in standard MP and Wolfpack modes)
o The lush, tropical environment of Saint Pierre
o The moody, atmospheric stronghold of Fort St-Mathieu
o The embattled, enflamed Boston neighborhood of Charlestown
It'll be available on the Xbox 360 for 800 MS Points and on the PlayStation Network and PC for $9.99 on January 15. The DLC will be automatically available to Season Pass holders for free. The next DLC that's set for release is the Tyranny of King Washington, details of which you can read here.
