There's quite a bit of news about Grand Theft Auto 5 today. Firstly, a new screenshot of the game has been released in a Hungarian PC gaming magazine called PC Guru.
Before you get your hopes up for a PC version of the game, know that we've come to learn that the the gaming magazine, despite its focus on PC games, often does coverage of console titles and GTA 5 happens to among them. After all, it's only one of the biggest and most anticipated games of 2013.
A scan of the screenshot was uploaded to the GTA fan forums. Apparently, the screenshot is captioned with "Like Los Angeles, Los Santos is a huge city." The shot appears to be of the area behind the huge VINEWOOD sign overlooking the city. It's the game's analogue of Mulholland Dr.
The screenshot itself depicts a pretty vast view distance of the city, which only serves to show how far Rockstar has come with the game's graphics engine since GTA 4.
In related news, rapper Chief Keef announced on his Twitter account that his hit song Love Sosa is going to be one of the tracks in GTA 5. Presumably, the song will be played on one of the radio stations in the game. Here's the tweet:
Love Sosa Is Goin To Be On GTA5 🙊💸 #300

Personally, Love Sosa wouldn't be my first pick from Chief Keef, but it's as good as anything else he has to offer. Beyond that, I wouldn't put it past Rockstar to license a Childish Gambino track like "Unnecessary" to run with the money theme GTA 5 is going with, or even The Game's "Holy Water" for its religious/money connotations.
Grand Theft Auto is set for release in early 2013 on the Xbox 360 and PS3. There are no plans for a PC version.
