Activity/Newbie Approach
Tekken is a massive video game franchise and as such, there is no doubt that the latest upcoming installment will have a large player base. You can expect Tekken 7 to be active for a long time to come.
Likewise, the video game will be approachable for new players to the Tekken series. Most of the story will be recapped allowing players to enjoy the title without being lost in the campaign narrative.
Tekken 7 vs Tekken 7: Fated Retribution
There might be some confusion here as Tekken 7 and Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is the same entity. When the game first launched into arcades, Bandai Namco slapped the name Tekken 7 on it. Though, much like past Tekken video games, an update is released which adds new stages, characters, etc.
In this case, the update is called Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. This particular version of the video game is what will be launching on consoles.
