There has been a lot of leaks as of late for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed title which has been codenamed Empire. Well, today we have more info on the game, but like always take this news with a grain of salt as none of this is concrete evidence.
First off, the game is going to be titled Origins. It is going to feature two protagonist- one man, one woman – and it will be set in Egpyt. Now here is when the real juicy leaks come into play; the game is apparently going to feature a character progression system similar to Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
All these rumors come from WWG, a division of the Comicbook.com website. The site has stated they have sources on the inside of the project. Assassins’ Creed: Origins is also said to be huge. It’s apparently going to be the biggest open world Assassins Creed game to date. As the game is set in Egypt, players will not be restricted to its confinements. The rumors suggest players will be able to explore with naval boats and can go as far as Greece. A big emphasis on Origins gameplay is exploration, so if this was true it would make sense for players to explore different areas, landmarks, countries.
However, like I mentioned above, take this all with a grain of salt. None of this is confirmed. But as we get closer to E3 2017, the hype level for whatever Ubisoft has been cooking up for the past year will intensify.
