Starbreeze has announced today that Overkill’s The Walking Dead title will be getting a significant delay until the second half of 2018.
The game has been in development for quite some time now, however, it seems like Starbreeze and 505 games need a little more time to get it just right. In a recent press release they had the following to say:
“We, together with the development of OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead decided to extend the production schedule so that the title will reach their full potential and pursue our original vision a step further. Together with Skybound Entertainment we are fully dedicated to releasing an unforgettable experience for fans throughout world and then continue to support it with high quality content in the coming years, “said Starbreeze CEO Bo Andersson Klint.
It’s not all bad news though, as Starbreeze has announced that an exclusive broadcast on Twitch will be taking place on May 10. Here they will give an insight into the development of OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead.
