The Mario Kart series has been a massive franchise for Nintendo which have been available through a number of console generations. This upcoming installment, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe may see a loss of a popular technique some gamers might have used in Mario Kart 8.
This bit of news came from GameXplain who noted that they discovered a fire-hopping exploit was missing in the upcoming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Essentially, this exploit would allow gamers to extend a power slide boost which was effective in Mario Kart 8 on Nintendo’s last-generation console, the Wii U.
With the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe coming out in about a week from now, gamers might be bummed to learn that Nintendo took out the technique, or at least that’s how it appears.
So far, there’s no official word on the matter, but this wouldn’t come to much of a surprise to see Nintendo tweak some of the mechanics for the upcoming video game release.
As for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, this is an upcoming enhanced version of Mario Kart 8. Gamers will find that the Deluxe edition for the Nintendo Switch will come with additional characters, carts, along with tracks that were not previously featured in the last installment. Gamers can pick up Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on April 28, 2017.
