The Necromancer class, though it is still in beta, already has a pretty substantial skill set thus far. However, Blizzard will likely make changes still, some of which could be “substantial,” the studio noted in a blog post. In addition, Legendary items specific to the Necromancer are not available for testers but are coming later.
Blizzard notes that overall, the Necromancer has a “huge variety of skills.” Some of the primary skills include Bone Spikes (can summon spikes from the ground), Siphon Blood, (drains blood from an enemy), and Grim Scythe (slashes and enemy with a scythe to deal damage).
There is also a skill called Army of the Dead, which gives you a wicked skeletal army to fight alongside you, dealing an impressive 3000% weapon damage.
One of the Necromancer’s passive abilities is called Swift Harvesting, and it increases the attack speed of Bone Spikes, Siphon Blood, and Grim Scythe by 15 percent. Another passive, Commander of the Dead, reduces the Essence cost of the Command Skeletons and the cooldown for the Command Golem by 30 percent.
