While I get the feeling that Capcom really wants to let people know what Resident Evil 6's plot is all about with their long-ass trailers, it seems the publisher has gotten more than they bargained for as the game is now reportedly in the hands of a few lucky people in Poland.
In a post on Polish site Neogo.pl (via NeoGAF),they claim that an unnamed retailer is selling the game well in advance of its October 2 release date. Of course, that's easy enough to claim, so as proof, they went ahead and posted pics of the game's packaging and the game being played, too!
Here are the pics:
Judging from the game box, it seems this is from a German copy of Resident Evil 6. According to the site that posted the images, we can expect more from them soon and that includes video footage.
Of course, do keep in mind that this could still be a very well-made hoax. So, bear that in mind when you call your Polish friends to nab you an early copy.
In saying that, seeing as the game has already gone gold a few weeks ago, this could actually be the real deal. If so, I suspect Capcom will be very, very upset.
Should Capcom just release the game early now or do you think this might be a fake? Just to be safe, I'd steer clear of video-streaming sites concerning Resident Evil 6 in the next few weeks. Unless, y'know, you're fine with spoilers.
