Konami has finally revealed the release date for Platinum Games' long-in-gestation Metal Gear spinoff — Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The release date was announced by Konami via a "new" game trailer for the game. This trailer, which you can see below, is mostly comprised of footage we've seen from the game's E3 unveiling. If you've yet to see the E3 trailer, just know that its teeming with blood and might not be everyone's cup of tea. Of course, the game's protagonist Raiden is also in it and he's set out to "make it right" for everyone.
If you want to see the actual new footage, jump to around past the 3:30 mark to see a robotic dog with a chainsaw attached to his tail.
If you watch the trailer the whole way through, you'll see this dog seems to have his memory wiped and will be some sort of companion for Raiden. So, Raiden now has a pet, confirmed??
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be bringing its slice-and-dice gameplay to people on February 19 for the US, Europe and Asian markets. People in Japan will get it on February 21, while UK gamers get it last on February 22.
Anyone still excited for this or is it high time for Metal Gear Solid 5?
