There’s a new Final Fantasy 15 presentation, and we have some raw video from the show.
This was held in the Family Game Forum, and director Hajime Tabata was on hand to discuss the game’s technology.
No translation is available yet, but here’s some interesting insights from watching the video:
· The sky is being procedurally generated, including clouds, lightning, and other effects.
· Noctis can seemingly walk on water, or at least appears to in this demo. Perhaps it’s an ability he can unlock down the line.
You can also see the Final Fantasy team went the extra mile creating several engines for small and big effects, many of which won’t even be noticed by gamers.
Hopefully, Square Enix will reshare this, or at least details from the talk, translated within the week, but in the meantime, what do you want Tabata and his team to reveal next? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
Final Fantasy 15 is planned for release in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
