Bethesda has released a small patch for Fallout 4 on Steam. It may not be what you are looking for though.
The patch notes only says it fixes a crash issue related to xaudio drivers.
For those who are unaware, this is in reference to XAudio2, the low-level audio API from Microsoft. It provides high level functions for programmers, and also works with mixing and signal processing for high level audio APIs, such as XACT.
If you are encountering issues with Fallout 4 on your PC, we have a guide on fixing stuttering issues here, and a general guide here.
