The fact that the PlayStation versions of Destiny are set to receive exclusive content should be a surprise to no one, given that the game’s beta (and the alpha before it) were launched on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 before their Microsoft counterparts on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Exactly what this exclusive content is remained, for a time, to be seen before Activision made a formal announcement about them. Well, today, Amazon has revealed exactly what the exclusive content for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will be, through the release of an image containing the goodies that lie in wait for customers of the game on the Sony platforms.
Here’s what’s in store:
Armor
Manifold Gear Set
Argus Gear Set
Vanir Gear Set
Weapons
Monte Carlo
Hawkmoon
Vehicles
Aurora Wake
Outrageous Fortune
Crypt Hammer
Lastly, the PlayStation versions of the game will receive the Exodus Blue competitive multiplayer map, and the Dust Palace strike mission.
The exclusives are dated as “timed exclusives” until at least Fall 2015, when they will become available to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game.
Destiny is set for a September 9 release on both Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
