Agrabah is coming back for Kingdom Hearts 3. We know this thanks to a surprise reveal tweet from a famous, if not quite popular, Hollywood actor.
Gilbert Gottfried, who voiced Iago the parrot in Aladdin, reprised his role in all the Kingdom Hearts video games with Iago, and he has revealed via tweet that he is back at work for the new Kingdom Hearts again.

To be fair, this isn’t that huge a spoiler considering Agrabah has been in most of the Kingdom Hearts games, but it is still good to get that confirmation. It does seem unlikely that Agrabah would not be appearing since Jafar is one of the series’ great antagonists (2nd only to Maleficient), and Jasmine is one of the Princesses of the Heart.
What should be interesting to see is what Square Enix will do to Agrabah using the power of next gen consoles. In Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2, it has appeared to be very different game worlds, serving the adventure found in each game.
Well, that’s all we have for now, but we’ll make sure to keep you up to date when more information appears. Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
