As it stands we don't know much about the next Mass Effect but more information may be on the way soon according to BioWare General Manager Aaryn Flynn.
In tweets picked up by NeoGAF Flynn said:
Of course that doesn't mean we should expect news but it would indeed be a nice surprise to hear something about the game.
At the moment there is some reason to believe that the game will be a sequel to the Commander Shepard trilogy. In November, on N7 Day, a celebration of the series, BioWare developers also posted a series of screens and concept art for the game which gave little away.
The game does not even have a title as of yet with former BioWare community manager Chris Priestly saying using the name 'Mass Effect 4' is a "disservice" but as it stands we don't have anything else to call it.
Whatever the game is ultimately named, the next Mass Effect is being developed on the Frostbite 3 engine but does not have a release window or launch platforms announced.
Flynn has previously said that he "hopes" there will be more information to share on the game in 2014.
