Another day, another batch of rumors about GTA 5. This time around, German gaming website PC Games is reporting that the German-based electronics chain Saturn is listing Grand Theft Auto 5 for a March 15, 2013 release.
Officially, the Rockstar Games-developed title carries an Spring 2013 release date, so the revelation is oddly specific. Moreover, Saturn is also stocking a pre-order box for GTA 5, containing free posters. Preordering the game costs EUR 4.99.
Curiously, the publication reports that the product page for the game on Saturn's website still has the game listed on a placeholder "31 December 2013" release date.
Whether or not GTA 5 will be released on the stated date remains to be seen, but we have little reason to doubt that Rockstar will deviate from its Spring 2013 release window.
The latest rumor is a few weeks off from a previously surfaced date, which claimed that the game would be out on March 27.
The fact that Rockstar remains mum on the actual release date of GTA 5 is a strong indicator that the game yet remains in development with much yet to be done. It would also explain the absence of any PC release schedule.
