Like it or not, Season Passes for games are here to stay. Regardless if it's a title that's mostly played for its single-player or if it's for map packs, the wholesale packge of selling future content is now a standard when a game's released.
Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 3 is no different. While the game is mostly known for its single-player missions and narrative, AC3's multiplayer has a few fans, too. Whatever your preference might be, Assassin's Creed 3's Season Pass has you covered.
In the trailer, Ubisoft outlines the content players will get once they plunk down the $50 fee for the Season Pass. There's the Hidden Secrets Pack, which contain the Ghost of War, Lost Mayan Ruins and Dangerous Secret single-player missions; while on the multiplayer front, the Battle Hardened Pack is part of the deal as well and containts three new maps with three new multiplayer characters.
In addition to the content above, there's also the Tyranny of King Washington expansion which houses The Infamy, The Betrayal and The Redemption sequences.
Just in time for the holidays, PC Assassin's Creed 3 players can get a 25% discount on the Season Pass if they buy it from Ubisoft's digital store. If you're thinking of buying it, best to hurry as this discount will only last from December 24 up to December 30 this year.
Has any of you purchased AC3's Season Pass yet? Come to think of it, are you fine with the Season Pass or should publishers ease up a bit on the nickle-and-diming of consumers?
