While there are already a ton of info we know about Black Ops 2, there's still a few details left that we haven't seen — and one of these is the game's Emblem Editor.
Fortunately for us, Game Director David Vonderhaar tweeted our first look at one of the game's foremost features when it comes to personalization — albeit in a very limited way.
Yep, it's definitely a step up from Black Ops 1's Emblem Editor, no? According to Call of Duty fansite Charlie Intel, there will be 32 layers in the Emblem Editor. Not only that, but the RGB Color Wheel now allows you to use custom colors from the RGB spectrum and transparency has been added, too.
That's not the only thing "Vahn" tweeted. In addition from our first look at the Emblem Editor, Vonderhaar also gave the perfect solution for those upset at getting "joined in" to games that are already in progress…and that's to join League Play.
@JRAWH If that stuff upsets you so badly play League Play. No join in progress.
League Play groups Black Ops 2 players based on their performance. Once a player selects League Play from the multiplayer menu, playing it will move your position up or down with those the player's in the same division with. When you first start playing the multiplayer, your first few matches will decide which division you'll be in and performance while playing will determine whether you move up or down the virtual ladder. Handy for those who want to play within their skillset, no?
There you have it. Both our first look at the Emblem Creator and the info regarding League Play are new info straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Black Ops 2's multiplayer and I expect we'll hear more before the title's November 13 ship date.
