Gearbox has put together the fourth and final Echo Log of Gaige the Mechromancer, the fifth and newest playable character in Borderlands 2. Gaige is best described as a teenage genius with a bionic arm and a killer robot she built named Deathtrap, or DT for short.
Armed with an arsenal of heavy weapons and the ability to command her powerful—and yes, upgradeable—sidekick in battle, Gaige is a force to be reckoned with in Pandora.
The fourth Echo Log follows in the the events of her previous Echo Logs, which familiarized us with her character, and goes into detail about how she was left traumatized by an event at the local science fair and subsequently found herself in exile to the frontier planet of Pandora.
Like the Echo Logs for the previous characters—and just about everything else in the game, really—it’s a thing that gets really dark, fast. It stands as a tribute to the game’s good writing, and is well worth listening to.
