Bethesda has confirmed one video game title to be present during their E3 press briefing this year. According to Pete Hines, the vice president of PR and marketing of Bethesda, we will see Fallout 4 VR during E3. This bit of news comes from an interview done between Pete Hines and Hip Hop Gamer while at PAX East.
It was during the interview that VR was brought up and while Pete Hines may not be a big fan of the headsets, he is excited to unveil Fallout 4 VR during this year’s E3 event.
Pete Hines feels that VR will grow and become even more mainstream but not something that will take over other aspects of gaming. Even putting aside the fact that Hines finds himself a bit sick over the motions in VR, a big obstacle that the VR movement has to overcome is the ability to not seclude the gamer from everyone else in the room.
On the subject of Fallout 4 VR, Pete Hines alerted Hip Hop Gamer what Bethesda’s Todd Howard had to say about the video game.
Howard told Hines the following to boast the game up and prepare to excite those who are attending E3 this year.
“Fallout 4 VR is the most incredible thing you’ve ever seen in your life. You can’t even imagine what it’s like, playing in VR and how realistic it looks and everywhere you turn your head. It is going to blow your mind. It is the craziest thing you’ve ever seen.”
Again, it’s a boast for their own video game, but with such bold statements, it has us intrigued as to how the game handles. With E3 being open to the general public this year, you may have the chance to try the game out for yourself at Bethesda’s booth.
