Exciting news for Metal Gear fans has emerged thanks to Silicon Knights Studio’s founder, Denis Dyack. The studio’s founder seemed to be answering questions on Twitter and one interesting one had popped up regarding the Metal Gear Solid remaster — Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.
When asked whether or not players could expect a chance to see Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes on the Nintendo Switch, Dyack simply answered: “Yes”. Now, this is extremely exciting news for anyone who loves the Metal Gear remaster, but this also brings up another talking point.
Check out the tweet down below:
Not only does Dyack tweet suggest players will once again relive the awesome title Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, but this also could mean the Gamecube emulation is truer than we thought. The Twin Snakes released on Gamecube, and recent rumors have been circulating that when Nintendo announces the virtual console for the Switch, it will include the Gamecube, which essentially means there will be a ton more titles to be played.
Now, this is all still in the air. Just because Dyack says Yes to the fact The Twinn Snakes can come to the Switch doesn’t necessarily mean it will. Time will just have to tell.
How would you like The Twin Snakes on your Switch? What about the Gamecube being added to the Virtual Console? Let us know in the comments!
