Ubisoft has released a brand-new trailer for Far Cry 3 and it shows the game's savages…and no, I'm not talking about humans. The savages in Far Cry 3 are the humans themselves — in this instance, it's Vaas and Buck.
If you've seen a lot of slasher and horror movies, Vaas and Buck's attitudes should be familiar to you. They're the savages that prey on people vacation and as Ubisoft puts it, "Deep in the heart of insanity you'll encounter Vaas and Buck, two of the most twisted and ruthless savages in Far Cry 3. Learn the rules of the jungle and see how they unleash hell on the unfortunate souls who cross their paths."

Given what we're shown in the trailer, it looks to put you in the hapless victims' role in horror movies. Of course, that's until you get guns and tear stuff up big time.
Far Cry 3 seems to be giving the "brown" FPS genre a lot of greenery and more varied locales than we're used to. Let's just hope it's enough to make the game stand out when it ships on December 4 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
