Mass Effect Andromeda has a new video out, this time showcasing some of the game’s “Golden Worlds”, which are the most promising planets to house life.
These planets are designated as potential new habitats for humanity as humans work their way through the Andromeda galaxy. Suvi, your crew’s tech officer talks you through these worlds.
The first focal point for your search is a mass of starts called the Helios Cluster. Seven promising Golden Worlds lie within this cluster, which means seven chances to find a new home.
Golden Worlds should not only be able to sustain life, but should also have a plethora of minerals to supply colonies. In order for colonists to be woken from their cryosleep, the needs of the Nexus must be met, including retrieving the necessary minerals needed to sustain the endeavor.
Suvi then walks us through each of the “Habitats” and what their states are at the present time they were scouted. Each have their own unique benefits and ecosystems for both humans and nonhumans alike. Pathfinder teams are then sent down to scout out each planet and ensure a safe settlement.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated for release on March 21st 2017.
