Capcom has put together a new trailer of Resident Evil 6 titled “No Hope Left”, which is the same name they gave to the viral marketing blog they’re using to promote the game.
The trailer contains scenes in which the game’s protagonists stand around calmly as explosions happen all around them, because cool guys don’t look at explosions. All the game’s main characters, including Ada Wong, have appearances in the trailer.
Everyone else can be seen panicking as fire eats the city up and the once-living civilians turn into undead zombies intent on devouring human flesh.
The new title will be split into three main campaigns with players taking on the roles of Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and newcomer Jake Muller in various locations across the world. Each campaign is playable either alone with an AI partner or with a friend to take control of the second character. All campaigns are interconnected and can be played in any order the player chooses.
Resident Evil 6 will be out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 2, 2012.
