Ubisoft has officially announced For Honor‘s season pass and its contents today. The $40 season pass comes with six new heroes that will be available seven days before they are released for everyone else. It also includes “elite” outfits for the six DLC heroes, as well as a Day One War pack.
As rumored, this includes a “sunbeam” effect for hero emotes, three emblem outlines, three scavenger crates that can be used to unlock extra gears, and 30-day “Champion Status.” This gives the player extra XP for crafting, more loot at the end of the matches, and the ability to give your friends XP boosts.
All season pass content will be available when For Honor launches February 14th, with the exception of the six heroes and their outfits. The heroes will arrive two at a time at the start of every new Faction War season, which there will be three of.
In addition, the For Honor season pass is included with the game’s $100 Gold Edition.
People who don’t pick up the season pass can get the new heroes by spending For Honor maps, modes, and gear as free DLC after launch. People who own the season pass get early access to “some elements of this post-launch content.”
However, you don’t have to wait until February 14th to play For Honor, as the open beta will be held on PS4, Xbox One, and PC from February 9-12.
