Released exclusively for Japanese audiences, Sony and Square Enix have provided details on a NieR: Automata themed PlayStation 4 model set to coincide with the game’s official launch.
The model is currently selling through the Japanese PlayStation Store and is available in two different models: a 500GB version valued at ¥33,480, and a 1TB version valued at ¥38,480. In addition to the stylised Emil cover and package, the PlayStation 4 Nier: Automata Emil Edition will also come with an original PS4 theme and the classic jet black wireless dualshock controller, monoaural headset, and USB/HDMI cable combo. Pre-orders are currently available through the Japanese PSN store.
NieR: Automata will release this Febrary 23 for PS4 and PC (Japan), March 7 in the US, and March 10 in Europe.
