Insomniac Games is best known for their work on the Ratchet & Clank and Resistance franchises, and they've an upcoming game called Overstrike that's they were supposed to be cooking up for Electronic Arts, which was slated to see a proper reveal towards the end of Summer.
We haven't heard of Overstrike since the small announcement in the link above was made, which may imply that the game's been overhauled as the new game they announced today called Fuse.
Insomniac Games founder Ted Price announced the new title at his PAX Prime keynote today, stating that the company had begun work on a new intellectual property.
The studio revealed a screenshot from the game on their Facebook page, which happens to look a whole lot like Overstrike. However, in spite of its similarities, it may not necessarily be the same game.
At his keynote address, Ted Price also linked to a website with a timer on it at Fusegame.com, which will presumably contain proper details about Fuse once the clock expires.
