BioWare has released the official trailer for Mass Effect 3's upcoming Leviathan single-player DLC. It shows additional footage from what was shown during EA's Summer Showcase event held last month.
According to EA, the Leviathan DLC, "expands upon the events of Mass Effect 3, with gripping and emotional storytelling, compelling new characters, and powerful weapons and upgrades. Discover more about the origins of the Reapers as you race across the galaxy to find the Leviathan. Travel to new systems, wield the AT-12 Raider Shotgun and M-55 Argus Assault Rifle, and unravel the dark history of the Reaper Race before it is too late."
Something lurks in the dark corners of space, something powerful enough to kill a Reaper and Commander Shepard must discover this closely guarded secret before the Reapers "silence" it forever.
I might be mistaken but the Leviathan DLC will be the first time in the franchise's history that will allow players to take Commander Shepard underwater. Of course, he's doing it in a big-ass mech but does this mean we'll see a Reaper who lives underwater?
All those questions and more once Mass Effect 3's Leviathan DLC is released next week on August 28 for all platforms.
