In an interview with Y Combinator, inventor, engineer, and business magnate Elon Musk talked video games in addition to space travel, productivity, and A.I.
Towards the end of the interview, Sam Altman asked Musk for a few video game recommendations. The first title on his list was Overwatch. Musk praised both the game and its developer, calling Overwatch “amazing” and stating that he thinks Blizzard “generally does great stuff.” He also mentioned Hearthstone in his recommendations.
Musk continued, saying that he heard “great things” about Sony’s Uncharted series. He also expressed his disappointment about hearing lackluster things about the Deus Ex franchise’s most recent release. As far as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided he says, “The storytelling is kind of lame,” as he instead prefers the “amazing” storytelling of the earlier Deus Ex installments.
In a follow up interview with a different company, Musk did not reveal who he mains from the Overwatch character roster, stating it is “too embarrassing” to reveal. Some have speculated that he prefers Bastion, others D.Va, especially due to her newest nerf.
