Sony has announced via their official blog that the cult-classic, Psychonauts is making its way to the library of PlayStation 2 Classics. As Double Fine's first title, debuting on the PlayStation 2 in 2005, Psychonauts carved out a niche for creative and off-the-wall titles in the gaming world.
Although the title didn't see commercial success, fans have been clamoring for a sequel for quite some time. Tim Schafer has hinted at his enthusiasm toward making a sequel to the popular action-adventure platforming title, and another great way to continue building hype for the IP is another shiny rerelease.
I, personally, already own this title on three different platforms, and Sony is still making me wonder why I shouldn't make it an even four. If you've never had a chance to play this fantastic title, be sure to pick it up on one of the many available venues and spend a weekend crushing through it. You'll thank me, I promise.
