Dishonored: The Study of Stealth Trailer Released by Bethesda

In this new trailer for Arkane Studios' upcoming first-person action game Dishonored has been released by Bethesda. While previous trailers showcased Corvo's powers and how he can use it to take down enemies creatively, this video is all about stealth.

Using Corvo's Dark Vision power, he can see how far out the enemies can see with a cone of light coming out of their eyes. Think of it as the mechanic used in Metal Gear Solid mixed in with Batman's "Detective Vision" in Arkham City.

Aside from that, Corvo can lean on walls to take a peek at enemies without being seen. Of course, stealth is not just about what you see, it's also important how sound is controlled. In the game, players can use sound within the game to distract enemies before swooping in for the kill.

While it seems playing stealthily looks to be very limited in comparison to killing every enemy using your powers, it's still nice that the game gives us this option, no?

Dishonored is set for release on October 9 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
