While augmented reality tech is not really new, this new video released by Sony Japan (via NeoGAF) shows the technology in a whole new level. Now, keep in mind that has not been confirmed for use in any games, but it's worth a watch just to speculate the implications this can do to the gaming world.
Most of the augmented reality games and technology we see in games today mostly focus on casual fare and to be honest, haven't been done in a way that people will want to use it other than for its initial gimmick.
Can you imagine using the Wii U Gamepad or Sony's version of it and using this tech for horror games? Hopefully, Sony somehow implements this with their next-gen console in an ingenious manner, no?
Do you want this feature in future games or is it a tad too creepy to be viable?
