LEGO Lord of the Rings, coming to us from TT Games this fall, promises to combine the creativity and aesthetic of the LEGO franchise with the fantasy and enchantment of the Tolkein series. The game, which spans the entire trilogy, will allow players to control over 80 characters on their way to Mount Doom. The game also contains a neat Palantir (or Seeing Stone) feature, which will allow players to hop between storylines.
Other than that, actual gameplay details for the upcoming title are somewhat scarce, but what is known so far is that characters will possess abilities inspired by story-world counterparts (either from the film or from the comic). In the meantime, That Videogame Blog has provided a short list detailing the abilities of a few characters, including Fellowship members.
It reads:
- Frodo Baggins
