I remember when I used to get so hyped up watching professional wrestling and of course, wrestling games. You want to see your favorite "face" or "heel" represented accurately in-game; be it from their entrance introduction, signature moves or from the very clothes they wear.
Now, that current gaming platforms are certainly powerful enough to include these and almost every pro-wrestling gimmick you can think of, the big issue is the fighters themselves. Who's in, who's out, who's going to be on the box and so on.
Well, now THQ looks to answer that with WWE '13's official roster trailer which showcases wrestlers from across the different eras of the professional league.
We get to see old-school wrestlers like The Big Bossman, Billy Gunn and a host of other "wrasslers" from that era. Of course, this can't be WWE '13 without today's superstars making an appearance, too. While I can't go list everyone in the five-minute video, rest assured, if you want to play as a certain WWE wrestler — be it old or new — chances are, they're in the game.
Quite an impressive list, no? Oh, and if the crossed-arms weren't enough of a clue, this year's cover athlete is none other than CM Punk!
WWE '13 is scheduled for release later this year for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
