Gamescom is currently underway at Cologe, Germany as we speak. While the big press conferences has come and gone, people might be wondering where and if Ubisoft has conducted theirs.
Unfortunately, the publisher has and instead of offering a live-stream, they did a "live-tweet" of the their whole conference! While this mght seem odd, now that we have our mitts on the 45-minute presser, it explains why Ubisoft didn't offer a live-stream option…if they did, people would be laughing or crying their asses of — depending on your perspective.
While the publisher's E3 press conference was highlighted by Watch Dogs, their Gamescom presser didn't even have a shred of Assassin's Creed III footage. That's right! They didn't show even one-second of their biggest game of the year!
If you're planning on watching the presser and expecting new looks at Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell: Blacklist or some other triple A game, you will be very, very disappointed. I think the "biggest" game they revealed at the press conference was Ghost Recon Online — which, honestly, wasn't all that impressive.
I know I sound like a wet blanket, but if you don't believe me, watch the whole thing for yourself. Just be prepared for F2P and social games for the next 45-minutes.
Go on, give it a watch — I dare you!
