BioWare has officially announced the date of its upcoming Leviathan single-player DLC for Mass Effect 3.
In a post on the official BioWare blog, the developer announced that the Leviathan DLC will be out this coming August 28 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Take note, this date is for US customers, European Mass Effect 3 fans will have to wait a day as the DLC will be out on the 29th for them.
Mass Effect 3's Leviathan DLC focuses on Admiral Hackett who's running a black ops mission to hunt the elusive creature known for killing Reapers — and you guessed it — it's the Leviathan.
Nobody knows where the Leviathan is, so it's up to Commander Shepard and his crew to scour the galaxy in their mission to find him.
I doubt this will affect the game's highly-controversial ending, but more Mass Effect content is always a good thing, right? Are you getting this or are you now more excited for the free multiplayer offerings BioWare releases for Mass Effect 3?
