Ubisoft has released a set of screens for Assassin's Creed III at Gamescom and we have it for you below.
While the screens show cinematic shots rather than bits from actual gameplay, they nonetheless, still look quite impressive. We see the game's protagonist — Connor — using his bow and arrow to hunt a deer; and in the next shot, we see him partaking in a huge war on the battlefield against the British.

Yes, part of the screens are from the recently-released "Naval" trailer and again, they don't offer much when it comes to giving us new info, but the amount of detail into each screenshot really makes me wish this was from the console version and not altered in anyway.
Hopefully, we get more Assassin's Creed III footage on the showfloor — be it off-screen gameplay or another trailer, no?
Assassin's Creed III is set for releaes this coming October 30 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, with the PC version soon to follow.
