To properly celebrate Gamescom, Ubisoft is putting more Assassin's Creed: Liberation footage out for consideration. The Vita support raining down on the German conference is playing directly to the consumers wants and needs and it's just getting better and better. This trailer just gives Sony handheld owners more to get excited for as we learn about the daring life of protagonist Aveline de Grandpré.
Nothing is more hilarious than blow-darting a guy off a rooftop. He never saw it coming and chances are, the people he will inevitably fall on won't either. This trailer shows off a good deal of gameplay along with the Vita feature integration. It looks like tapping on enemies during combat will allow you to attack, and you can also use the back touch screen to move Aveline during certain scenes. The HUD is either missing from the gameplay trailer, or they aren't planning on including one in the title, a bold move on Ubisoft's part.
Thankfully, whatever else may come, there is still quite a lot of hay-diving. If there's one thing I can't do without in my Assassin's Creed games, it's the chance to hide in some hay. And that's exactly what I look forward to seeing in the future. More 3D hay.
