Tekken Tag Tournament 2’s Opening Cinematic Reminds You the Game has a Story

The thing with fighting games are that most people forget that there's an plot surrounding it and its characters. Why they're all in the same place, why they're bashing each other senseless and what they gain in doing so.

If you've been playing videogames for quite some time now, you might remember Namco doing those impressive CGI trailers for Tekken back in the PlayStation 1 days. They're at it again, but this time, for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (via Eurogamer). 

While the trailer itself is in Japanese, and entirely made in CGI, it should still whet your appetite a bit when it comes to bashing someone's face in. You'll no doubt see familiar faces in it and they're all doing the thing they're most known for…beating each other up!

We get to see Nina and Anna try and beat each other up but before they can do that, Ogre comes up from under the floor only to be greeted by Angel. Seeing as it's Tekken, expect Heihachi, Kazuya and all the usual cast to round the roster out.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is scheduled to hit on September 11 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. There's also a Wii U version but we don't know the exact release date of that one just yet.
