Physical sales of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare are down by almost 50 percent in November based on data sourced by two Wall Street analysts.
Cowen Group analyst Doug Creutz revealed that units of Infinite Warfare were 17 percent below expectations, reaching near 50 percent. Another undisclosed Wall Street source claimed that “November’s NPD ‘Call of Duty’ unit sales were down 51 year over year.” The results mirror the drop in UK sales statistics, which saw a 48 percent drop during the game’s launch week.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare held the top spot on the UK Software Charts for three weeks straight, and is still currently holding onto third position behind FIFA 17 and Final Fantasy XV, which are first and second respectively.
Activision recently announced that it would be handing out the Hailstorm-Thunder pistol for players who have play time in both Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Infinite Warfare. In addition, Modern Warfare Remastered players will receive its remaining maps and have access to Hardpoint and Gun Game modes for the first time.
