SEGA has released a new trailer for Gearbox's upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines and it shows us how the Marines battle the dreaded Xenomorphs in the game.
If you've watched any of the Alien movies, then you'd know how dangerous and scary Xenomorphs are. They're like humans, only with bigger heads, sharp claws, fangs that can rip through steel and a tail that can slice a body in half.
In the video, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford heavily hints that they'll be unveiling new Aliens in the game that weren't in the movies. Admittedly, killing the same two Aliens over and over again would get old quick, so I understand where they're coming from with this one.
While, the Marines sound like they're at a disdvantage (they are), it's not as lopsided as you think. They have their trusty Pulse Rifle to mow down Xenomorphs and there's also the Smart Gun from the movie, too!
I have to admit, this is one of my most anticipated games for next year. Yeah, I loved the Alien movies, so that plays a hand in that, too. Hopefully, it won't disappoint when it ships on February 12, 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U.
