While PC Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim owners might already be enjoying the game's first expansion Dawnguard, PlayStation 3 owners are still out of luck as the expansion is still not available on their platform.
If you're wondering why, you're not alone and Bethesda knows this. So they took to their official blog to explain why Dawnguard for the PS3 is still not available.
We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3. We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse. We do everything we can to have our content available to all; from our free updates, to user mods, to paid DLC. We’re as disappointed as our fans when that isn’t the case, but we’ll continue to push for that reality.
PS3 Skyrim owners surely know of this already, but it's worth stating that the PS3 version of the game is the buggiest one of all. The biggest one of all being the bug that causes PS3 Skyrim players' save files to break the game that renders the player unable to continue.
For Skyrim PS3 fans, are you hoping that Dawnguard won't suffer the same fate? Come to think of it, did the fix for this game-breaking bug work at all?
