After many years of waiting and hoping for another Marvel vs. Capcom game, word has finally spread and it looks like it’s going to happen.
The official reports are coming in from Polygon, which said they vetted multiple sources to confirm its existence. It is stated that the game will indeed be titled Marvel vs. Capcom 4 and that a reveal is coming at PSX 2016.
However, straying away from tradition, the game will take more influence from the recent Marvel films. This means Marvel vs. Capcom 4 will exclude heavy hitters like the X-Men and replace them with characters from the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy instead.
Polygon has also noted that their sources have no info on the what platforms the game is coming to. PlayStation Experience is a PlayStation centered event, so there is the talk of it becoming a PS4 and perhaps PC exclusive; similar to the Street Fighter V announcement a few years back.
We will find out more on the fighting title at PSX 2016 which takes place from Dec. 3-4.
