The Dawnguard expansion pack for Skyrim was released as a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360, sparking some fears that the DLC would be exclusive to the Microsoft platform for a long amount of time.
These fears were compounded when Bethesda’s PR guy in chief Pete Hines took to Twitter to say that the studio “has not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news.” Hines added that he would be the first to deliver the news if there should be any developments regarding Dawnguard’s availability to both PC and PS3 gamers.
He has since taken once again to Twitter to announce that Bethesda will have an official news update later this week. “Just sit tight. We’ll have info soon,” he wrote.
It goes without saying that the company has plans to release Dawnguard on both the PlayStation 3 and PC, so we’ve only a few days to wait before we know what their plans are for the DLC, and when they’ll release it.
