After months of teasing, Blizzard has finally revealed Sombra as the next playable hero in Overwatch.
The new character, a Mexican hacker/spy, will be joining the roster as an offense-oriented hero with abilities ranging from deadly to deceptive. Sombra can hack heroes to stop their supers and also prevent them from healing.
She’s also capable of cloaking in the battlefield with Thermoptic Camo, which renders her both fast and invisible, allowing her to slip past enemies. The ability only lasts for a short period of time or until she shoots or takes damage.
Sombra also carries a Translocator, allowing her to teleport to a single spot on the battlefield no matter where she is.
Her ultimate ability is the EMP, which allows her to disarm turrets and disable Reinhardt’s shield and stop other ultimates.
