This sleek-looking Tango headset, pictured above is set to cost 300 British pounds (or over $450), making it the most expensive piece in the upcoming Turtle Beach Black Ops 2 Collection.
But is it just mark-up? While the set does display the words Call of Duty etched into the headband, and a Black Ops 2 logo is present on one of the earphones, what nifty features are informing the price tag?
For one, there's the tech you'd expect from high-end headphones, including dual-pairing Bluetooth, 5.1 surround, dual-band Wi-Fi and a rechargeable battery. But there's also Turtle Beach-exclusive features like "voice morphing," which allows the user to disguise their voice into something low and menacing or high-pitched and annoying.
And there's also this: Turtle Beach teamed up with Treyarch, which designed audio presets for the specific use in Black Ops 2. What's more is that voice prompts have been recorded by the game's voice actors to let you know when the set is powering on, running or low on battery (among a smattering of other prompts, apparently).
If you're sold on the bells and whistles, the range is set to arrive in October (although there are more reasonably-priced sets in the collection for the more frugal among us).
