Support Starbound by Purchasing Wanderlust: Rebirth

July 19, 2012 by Jen Shaffer

More monsters than you can shake a magic stick at.

According to an official blog entry, developer Yeti Trunk has partnered up with Chucklefish to get Starbound up and running with a cross promotion involving their newest title, Wanderlust: Rebirth. Rebirth is a retro RPG with both Story and Survival modes, four character classes, a crafting system, tricky AI, multiple endings, and a plethora of enemies, bosses and awards. This fantastic retro RPG will have online co-op and is still currently being expanded.

Similar to the Humble or Indie Royale bundles you may have purchased in the past, a percentage of the profits are claimed by Yeti Trunk and the remaining percentage will go directly to the development of Starbound.

You can currently buy Wanderlust: Rebirth at the official site for the retail price of $10 for a single license, or go with the four-pack option. The Steam version launches on July 27th and is expected to have an initial sale price of $7.50. If you're torn about which version to purchase, Chucklefish urges you to pick up whatever copy of the title you are most comfortable with. The Steam version is fully compatible online with the non-Steam version.
