Fan Makes Cloth Map of Skyrim

July 19, 2012 by Jen Shaffer

It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.

Let's just say you really miss the inclusion of fantastic extras when you purchase a video game. Going hand-in-hand with shouting about getting off my lawn and telling you about how I used to walk uphill both ways to school in five feet of snow is how games used to come with amazing things like cloth maps. Since the "man" has decided that gamers are no longer worthy of supplemental material with their titles, it's now in the sometimes-capable hands of the DIY player.

This Skyrim enthusiast has decided to take incentive and create that cloth map that everyone wished had come in every single version of Skyrim. By using his printer and a whole lot of magic, this gamer has created a sweet piece of Tamriel that he can keep forever.

If looking at this project sparks some inspiration in your gut, just do us all a favor and don't try sticking your t-shirt into a printer or anything like that.
